Checks while the ladder is up. With the run empty, water goes in at the far end and we watch where it goes. That shows a union dripping at a joint, a length that has lost its fall and holds a puddle short of the outlet, a loose or snapped bracket, and the state of the fascias and soffit behind. A hardened union seal or one loose bracket can be sorted on the visit if you agree, photographed and priced as its own line first.
