On a plot with outbuildings, the gutter that does the damage is almost never the one on the house. It is the one on the garage, the store or the stable, because nobody has looked at it in ten years.

We price the plot, not the metre, because the work varies so much from one run to the next. Buildings on the plot. A house, a detached garage and a store are three separate runs with their own outlets.
A lean-to on the back of a Holt cottage has a low gutter that fills faster than the main one, and a valley between two roofs collects the most. What counts is the number of outlets and hoppers, since that is where debris packs tight.

Tell us if it is running across a yard or track that cars use, because a frost turns that to ice by morning, and tell us if it is pooling against the wall, which matters on clay. We unblock it, run a hose through to prove the outlet and downpipe are clear, and say plainly if the real fault is a cracked joint. What is the right frequency out here?
Once a year for most plots, and twice where there are mature trees close to a roof. The seasonal timing matters more than the count: clearing before the leaves have finished falling means doing it again, so we would rather come in December than in October.
How long does a plot with several buildings take?
A morning, usually: the house is under an hour. Each outbuilding is minutes once the ladders are out, and the time goes on running water through every downpipe and checking joints, not on the clearing itself.
